Los adolescentes llevan armas, fuman y hay gangas . Ahora lamentablemente mi hija está asistiendo a esta escuela porque es la asignada. Sports have been lacking but slowly getting back to normal but for the students that lost the opportunity the school offered nothing in exchange. Yearbook staff does not pay attention to the students running the yearbook. 2 years in a row pictures of previous years teams were posted in stead of kids who actually participated in the team so in short my Childs yearbook never shows them on a team despite playing for 2 years. Principal Golden (who's now leaving) took all many f the fun activities away from the student body. Several teachers admittedly just stopped caring post covid. "Our neighborhood is multicultural and eclectic with homes build in the 1960's to new construction. The Hindu Center of Charlotte and a Baptist church find a home within our neighborhood. It is also convenient to access the McAlpine Creek Greenway and area grocery stories and restaurants like Hawthorne's Pizza by accessing the crossover on Independence BLVD."

"I do not consider this neighborhood unique however, it is a pleasant place to live. It is a working class neighborhood and there isn’t loitering on the streets. People on the street are either walking they dogs, walking for exercise, waiting for the school bus or commuting. It is basically a quiet, safe place to live."

"I loved living here for 9 years. The expanding city of Charlotte includes this neighborhood that its impossible to find a 1/2 acre property with a ranch homestyle 10 minutes away from the city. "
