Your entire family will love this magnificent, fully-furnished home in Mill Valley's beautiful Blithedale Canyon neighborhood. Sprawling across 5000 square foot, the home has 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a 750 square foot circular covered porch overlooking majestic Redwood trees. We have enjoyed entertaining in our home for many years, and we invite you to do the same!

This is a classic Mill Valley home, completely remodeled from the ground up, with beautiful Hickory hardwood flooring throughout the main level. There are wide windows throughout the home to create a natural, open, and airy feel.

The great room, with soaring ceilings and wooden trusses, adjoins the spacious Chefs' kitchen which boasts high-end appliances and a large granite island with utility sink. The appliances include a 6-burner Viking gas range with a griddle and a hood, two stainless steel dishwashers, a built-in Miele oven with a microwave above, and a warming drawer below. The stainless steel refrigerator has a water/ice maker on the door.

The upper level includes a spacious bedroom suite with a King-sized bed and large private walk-in closet, complete with washer and dryer. The ensuite bath has an air jet tub, a separate walk-in shower with two shower heads, heated floors, and double vanity with storage drawers and cabinets below.

The lower level includes 3 bedrooms, one with an ensuite bath, and the original 100 year old wood ceiling, plus a walk-in closet and the original claw foot tub with shower and a pedestal sink. There is a shared bathroom in between the two other bedrooms and another large laundry room with a high efficiency washer/dryer set. All bedrooms include the Elfa closet systems, with heated flooring in the bathrooms.

There is also a large bonus room, currently set up with a pool table and exercise equipment, with French doors leading to an outer deck.

The extraordinary Redwood forest beauty of our town and our ease of being active neighbors for all sorts of causes and activities is wonderful.     "I have lived in Mill Valley for 3 years and also work for the City of Mill Valley. This is an amazing city to live, work and play in. The trails and open spaces near and on Mt. Tam make some of the most beautiful views in the world accessible by bike or foot. The community is rich in cultural arts and entertainment. I enjoy the quiet refuge of my home in the hills after a day in the bustling downtown area. The parks are pristine and the community center has an indoor pool, brand new gym, dance studio, large/elegant banquet hall and many meeting/classroom spaces that you can rent for affordable prices. While Mill Valley has a reputation for being “stuck up”, “snotty” and “entitled”, I have not experienced this. I do pay an arm and a leg to live here, but in my opinion it is worth every penny and I have never regretted my decision to move here. The Mill Valley City Council is very responsive to citizen ideas, complaints and suggestions, making residents feel as though they have a voice in building the future of MV. With close proximity to San Francisco and Napa, you are in a great spot to travel and get away when you want. I will rent here until I am ready to buy a home somewhere more affordable."
