Posted by a parent on 9/25/2018My child has attended Old Mill from kindergarten through fifth Grade and has had an amazing, enriching experience. She is beyond academically and socially prepared for middle school thanks to the extraordinary teachers and staff. Truly a nirvana school for children.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter had the privilege to attend Marin Horizon School for 8th grade and her experience exceeded our expectations on every level. My only regret is not moving to MHS earlier. What most impressed me was how close the teachers, staff and administrators got to know her, and the dedicated coaching she received in every single class. This struck me reading the narrative from each teacher in the first report cards. It was clear they knew my daughter deeply and had worked closely with her to develop her strengths and push her in the areas she needed to grow. The school community was incredibly warm and welcoming, she had many new friends within days of joining the school and felt as if she had been there for years. This was clearly intentional, MHS focuses on fostering a sense of belonging, bonding with teachers, character building and strong academics. The teachers are truly invested in our children's education and emotional wellbeing. The school does a great job and amplifying the subjects that our kids excel in and support those that are more challenging. Being a parent here feels like a real partnership in how to best support each kid, and when you email administration they get back to you with a collaborative approach. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our first year at Chronos. My daughter is 4.5years old (TK) and in the TK/K/1 classroom. It’s been such a great experience and she’s learned so much. Chronos is a hidden gem of a school, it’s an experience not only for the students, but also the parents. There are so many opportunities for family involvement from field trip Fridays and weekly presentations. I also love all the photos and videos that are uploaded! Chronos is a good mix of fun combined with strong academics. The school also offers early care and aftercare. They’re open at 8 and close at 5, except Fridays pick up is at 4.
