Gorgeous 2-bedroom, 2-bath, 3-level townhouse one block from the King Street Metro Station and Old Town Alexandria. The freshly-painted townhouse backs up to a beautiful grassy park with a playground. Great neighborhood. It has a large living room, dining room, kitchen, nook, and back deck on the main level. Two bedrooms and a full bath upstairs. A third bedroom/living area/kitchenette with a 3/4-bathroom downstairs (walk-out basement "mother-in-law" suite). Three-minute walk to Old Town and King Street shops and restaurants. Off-street parking in rear of the townhouse. Plus, you can also park on the street with a residential permit. $2,800 per month.

Small pets are OK, only after discussion/approval by landlord. No smoking. Heated by gas steam radiators that are great in the winter. Deep, moist heat, and not nearly as expensive as electric. Central air conditioning for the summer (electric). Insulated windows. It's great to be close to a Metro station, but you will also hear them somewhat, as well the infrequent passenger/freight trains that pass nearby. Landlord lives nearby and is very responsive to issues that may arise. City services are excellent.
