7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIs a great school unless child has disabilities . My child is always in trouble. It seems to be the common solution instead of accommodation. They also lack understand in certain disabilities and seem to have zero patience . They will call you every time you kid says something they believe is bad even if its minor . They will call you at 2:55 pm and make you come get your kid from the school . The teachers seem to be kind of rude the further up the grades go . I'm still not sure how a straight A student can go to making ds and Fs in a single month ... I recommend if the child doesn't have any mental disabilities other wise I would probably try to find a school that follows the iep instead of isolating your child constantly.Parent Review1y ago - Haleyville Middle School

The principal knows how to lead the teachers to make it fun for the kids, while holding high achievement expectations! "The City School is great and provides a great foundation for children. The community is safe. There is a local farmers market for fresh vegetables each spring. The city has a lake for fishing and brief hiking. The lake is well maintained and hosts a Christmas light display each year. The are two fairly young pediatricians in the city and a few family practices. There are many churches in the area. School and city recreational fields are well maintained. The city school has a very strong career technical center that prepares students for job entry or entrance into highly technical career programs. "
