9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeaching: most teachers are great. Most give a good experience. There are teachers lacking the ability to teach on an interpersonal level. However electives are really fun and teachers seem to enjoy their students. Not too much to choose from for AP US hist. I hear that male teacher is really tough on the students and an extremely difficult class to pass. We do see a lot of help with the disability dept. Safety. There is good security at this school. Police and security usually act immediately; when there is a threat of any sort they are quick to act and do not take it lightly. Family engagement: I see this a lot as well. Parents are always encouraged to come to back to school nights. Football games and other events being held at school. I would like to see more programs being offered to our kids. Not all of them like swimming, baseball, football or cheerleading. As a parent I do not see many flyers for after school activities other than the usual listed. My niece graduated in 2013- enjoyed the school My nephew graduated in 2018- enjoyed going to the school. Overall good experience. My daughter - class of 2025; a junior; so far so good. An honor student with 4.2 gpa. States her electives are a lot of fun. She said: it may be a little harder for 9&10th graders but overall good. "This area maybe used to be great but it's gotten pretty crazy lately! My parents live on this street and there's people running through the yards and robbers hoppin' walls and running through fields quite often now! Not to mention all the riff-raf at the trailer park across the street, there's always something going on over there. Don't know who bumped their head and decided to rate rancho so highly in safety. Oh yes, and let's not forget the periodic tagging of innocent people's houses within this track or the school as well."
