7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe loved this school! We have had two kids go through here and it has been a wonderful launching point for their college careers. One of our children has 504/ IEP needs. They have been met very well. (Yes, we do have to educate the teachers/ team every semester on what works best for our kid, but it is always done in a positive way with very little pushback.) There are a few holdout staff from "back in the day" when the town was small and things were done differently. Luckily, those are getting weeded out. There are amazing opportunities for AP/ Dual credit. The school is on a great trajectory with a wonderful new principal. We will miss it!Parent Review1y ago - Indian Land Middle School

"It’s a very fast growing bedroom community of Charlotte. Very different than it was ten years ago. The roads, schools, and retail are struggling to keep up with the influx. The new neighborhoods are attractive but it’s a shame how developers are allowed to clear cut acres and acres of forest to build them."

"Lots of sidewalks, park areas, a pond etc. plenty of places to walk and play as well as trash cans in central locations for any doggy doo;. Only wish is an off-leash dog park and more dog pick-up stations. We are on our 3rd dog in the neighborhood and have plenty of doggy playdates and plenty of like minded dog lovers in the neighborhood."
