"F3 fitness groups The Fort Mill, Wahaw, Charlotte center ground. These surrounding booming communities are growing and this is the town where it is still affordable to live in such close range to all the opportunities in those communities for adults and youth "

"No commute for me as I work from home but travelling around my area is relatively easy. A bit of traffic during peak times for sure but it’s a fast moving area"

"It’s a very fast growing bedroom community of Charlotte. Very different than it was ten years ago. The roads, schools, and retail are struggling to keep up with the influx. The new neighborhoods are attractive but it’s a shame how developers are allowed to clear cut acres and acres of forest to build them."

"There are many dog owners in this community. Occasionally the barking can get very annoying, but it is generally quiet."

"Not so bad it’s about 30 minutes to most areas in Charlotte. Traffic can get hectic in the morning coming onto 485. But there are a lot of access points from here. "

"Good schools around the area. Safe area, but to a point. You still should take precautions as we are still close to Charlotte, and since it’s growing up around the area. "

"Lots of sidewalks, park areas, a pond etc. plenty of places to walk and play as well as trash cans in central locations for any doggy doo;. Only wish is an off-leash dog park and more dog pick-up stations. We are on our 3rd dog in the neighborhood and have plenty of doggy playdates and plenty of like minded dog lovers in the neighborhood."

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe recently moved from Charlotte to Indian Land and couldn't be happier with the change. Our two kids now attend Indian Land Elementary, and it's been a wonderful experience. The school has a strong sense of community, caring teachers, and a great learning environment. We're really glad we made the move!Parent Review10mo ago51 Reviews - Harrisburg Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIts a great school. The academic rigor is fantastic. My child got the best support both academically and extra curricular. The gifted program is pretty competitive. Your math and ELA needs to be in the very top percentile in the state/ country to do well in this program. The spelling bee program is fantastic too. Continuous stream of winners at district and state level.Parent Review7mo ago18 Reviews - Indian Land Intermediate

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe 5th-grade social studies teacher was supposed to teach about the Cold War (1946-1991) on March 6, 2026.Instead, the children listened to her position on the conflict in Ukraine in class.Politics is being forced on young children at school from the perspective of someone who doesn't understand politics and who should only be teaching history.Your school hires absolute laymen as teachers.Parent Review2mo ago1 Reviews
