"Community events where everyone feels welcome and contributes to a wonderful and safe neighborhood. "
  • Scott Martin
"49 yrs seen its ups and downs but all in all. The lack of apartments in the area has help tremendously over the years. "
  • Trulia User
"It all depends on the street you live on. Part of E. Thompson Rd, between Madison Ave & US-31, has a couple of apt. complexes & a long-stay motel rampant with crime & drug use. There are addicts panhandling in the intersections and as pedestrians, often seen talking outloud to nobody, fighting, or just passed out in a random lawn. the motel next to Red Lobster and then the one across the street from there, on 31 next to Taco Bell, are the worst. Many of the other areas of North Perry are actually still quite nice with good families that keep up their yards and keep to themselves for the most part."
  • Trulia User
"it's just close to everything and I see busses all of the time so I know they are easily accessible. "
  • Nicole R.
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for two years and my grandparents have for at least 15 years. It’s always been a nice and friendly neighborhood with some very busy streets. "
  • Ekey9817
"the people here are very social and friendly. The neighborhood looks nice and is a great area to go on walks with your family."
  • Tiffany N.
"Southport is an amazing place to live altogether. :) I love it here. Good people, quiet and pretty. Nice homes and landscaping. "
  • Katie W.
"u see people walking their dogs all the time.people r very forgiving when dogs have little accident and the owner clean it up."
  • Griffind1121
"There are a bunch of people that have dogs around my neighborhood and even a small dog park in my apartment complex that people are often at "
  • Legacymonica
"They would like half of the other dogs. Half are friendly, half are aggressive. No pet vaccination records are required so that’s not good. "
  • Neb2210
"It is a family-friendly neighborhood, most homes are well-kept, and the location is convenient for work in shopping. It is a great place to raise a family, in the church across the street has a nice playground where younger children can enjoy swings and slides, and have fun. property values have appreciated substantially since we moved here, And our family has always felt safe in the Rosedale Hills addition."
  • Discorsi B.
"Low crime, many parks, overall seems like the people who live here are out to do no harm. there are a lot of shops to go to in this area, and it seems like there are more moving in."
  • Jordansmommy52814
"everyone one around . we know all of them for the most part. nice and quite area. never any disturbance "
  • lunacoyo
"We bought our home on Loretta Drive in Sept 2011. We love the very large lots - and the easy access to I-65. We are super close to downtown, to Greenwood, and to Southport. Very convenient location. But you can still find more land than most places. Our neighborhood is very quiet, somewhat older than we would have liked, but we like it very much!"
