"dogs run lose everywhere and owners never pick up after thier pets . your children are in danger of attack and dogs are not safe from these rogue kids"
  • Trulia User
"The community gets to enjoy food drives. They have enrichment programs for tenants who wish to participate. They have other drives that keep the community in the loop. "
  • Craig F.
"Very diverse. Minorities feel at home and not second class. Very accessible to many highways and streets as well "
  • Brymer
"They would like it. People are able to walk their dogs in the various parks or surrounding communities in which they live. The dogs seem happy and the owner satisfied that they have the space to run and play with their pet. In some gated communities there are special dog parks for residents of that community."
  • Vivianne M.
"Short, I work in River oak’s and depending what time I leave. It can take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes"
  • Liani S.
"The neighborhood is very diverse. You have you Hispanics, Asians, etc. Because you are in a diverse area there are many different types of cuisine. The schools aren’t the best but you are in hisd so you apply for any hisd school. The parks are kept up with well and many families enjoy them. I like that you are a bout a 15 min commute from downtown and a 10 min commute from the galleria."
  • Rosana M.
"Everything about safety for our families!!! The safeties oof our children, the fixture of our street lights and friendliness of our neighbors!!!"
  • Rishisohoni
"I don’t know of many events. But there is a community newsletter that has a list of events. These events usually happen in Bayland park. "
  • Nabeelkhoja56

"Crime high. Schools stink. Floods. I don’t think people care here. Sharpstown mall full of gangs and crime"
  • we
"It is affordable, but high crime low performing schools. I’ve lived here 9 years. Holidays dangerous. Tons of gun fire. "
  • JohnJ
"Dog owners would like that most people in the area are pet owners as well. Although, depending on the situation they would mind that sometimes you have dogs just barking for no reason in the middle of the night."
  • Mary K.
"I grew up in this neighborhood. I do not know what makes it unique, but it is a nice neighborhood. There are plenty of trees and friendly people."
  • Ryan
"People always walk their dogs and dog owners are friendly with each other as long as you pick up after your pet"
  • Bernardidiaz
"They would love the wide driveways and quiet environment very safe to live and enjoy the city at the same time"
  • 355338
"I have about 5 dogs, my biggest pet peeve is living your dog out without a leash, they usually trigger my dogs by barking at them. I also don’t like is that they leave their dogs outside their patio in the summer/ winter, they get dehydrated just like we do but 10x more worst."
  • Bernardidiaz
"Wide roads, big front yards, and back yards, lots of vegetation, close to everything, very good drainage system and schools. "
  • 355338
"Well I been living here for 6 years, got use to the shooting and all the criminal stuff. It’s wtv honestly. Its sometimes peaceful. "
  • Pkolenda5454
"Located between Highway 59 and Beltway 8 : great location! Many bus routes too. HEB grocery store, Bank of America, Chase bank Whataburger and Asian market near by"
  • Mawilson
"I’ve lived in the area off and on for about 3 years. Chinatown to be exact and its quiet and comfortable especially financially. "
  • A l.
"I've lived here for 3 years and I love it... I've been renting a house and am truly sad to leave... I have neighbors that I will definitely be coming back to visit "
