Just what you've been seaching for! A post war Ranch with a mid century vibe, on a quiet cul-de-sac nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains in NW Altadena. This warm and inviting 3 bedroom, 2 bath house has a valley view from the front and a mountain view. Graced with a magnificent magnolia tree, this property also boasts jacaranda and meyer lemon trees. The primary en suite bedroom is extremely spacious and private and the kitchen provides plenty of room for all of your culinary creations. Third bedroom is currently being used as an office. With a tankless water heater, copper plumbing as well as mostly newer windows, a lot of the heavy lifting has been done. Walking distance to hiking trails and Loma Alta Park where you will find the Friday evening Farmers Market. The rear covered patio is the perfect place to find some peace and relaxation or to enjoy Southern California living with friends, furry or otherwise.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child does not like the school. She complains of the slow learning pace, especially in math, and that she does not feel it is a safe learning environment. As a parent, the leadership of the principal is concerning. She is primarily concerned with the performing arts and the elementary school. In meetings she had voiced her opinion about wanting more white families to attend and blames the discipline issues on foster children. The learning environment of the middle school appears to be an afterthought. How can 2/3 of the students be on the honor roll and the test scores be as low as they are…grade inflation and low expectations. Many teachers have left with newly certified teachers with a lack of experience taking their place, which is a disservice to the students. Long term subs are also leaving because of the non-supportive leadership.Parent Review1y ago - Franklin Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAwesome! I have been a teacher here for 21 years. It is a caring environment full of great academic experinces for all students! We have a music teacher, science teacher, science lab, farm to table garden, chrome books in every classroom. We produce engaging performances for annual events, have an active PTA & parent engagement. Our students, families & staff are a happy and solid team. Teachers send their students to our school. "Dog owners will be very pleased to live in this community. There are many pet lovers here. The only area of concern is there are wild animals living in the area; coyotes, bears, bobcats, skunk, opossum, rattlesnake and deer. Dogs and cats should never be left unmonitored in their yards, as they may be eaten or injured by coyotes at any time of the day."
