My experience at this school has been excellent the past 4 years since prior principal Steuwy left. The staff will go out in the community to find resources for families that are in need. They have family night, after school tutoring and principal listens to your concerns and rectifies the concerns in a timely manner. The communication amongst staff is excellent, I love the dialog of the Principal(Dr. Walker and VP( Ms. Smith), they are alwaysq on the same accord or they don't give a concrete answer without speaking to the other. No school is perfect and of course it's staff there that don't love what they do, but when you enter the premises those kids are loved and you can see it! Which is a plus for me!

The front desk Lady is always rude, when you need basic information like what color of uniform in a rude way she tells you go to the website. Last year I bought the wronf uniform because the website wasn't updated I just want to make sure she hang up

In my experience as an alumnus of the school, i would say... there were some teachers that cared... and there's most of them who didn't including the principal... the quality of education was terrible when I attended from 94-97.. the athletic department sucked as well up until 1997 when our basketball team finally made it to the 4A state championship and finished as runner-ups.. Anyways, the teachers and subs were just there to get paid.. i watched a teacher when I was a senior in algebra 2/triganometry class working on his golf swing as he was prepping for retirement or something lol.Fights were always happening during lunch or after school.. I hated the school to the core.. i was a track runner at the time and Bowie, Eleanor Roosevelt or Suitland HS could've used some talent like me
