7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI sent my children to this school from 1st grade all the way to 5th and is severely disappointed. My kids where victims of bullying from students and even a 4th grade teacher. When reported to the admin, they did not bat an eye. They basically ignored it and told my kids to figure it out themselves rather then helping them figure it out. My children are now in high school and are severely behind in math because of them being sent to a “special help class” called learning lab which brought them back to 1st grade Level math at the age of 10. They basically re-taught things they already had down instead of helping them understand the things they where learning. The bullying was ignored and the diversity was horrible. Causing sever racism for the children of color. I am beyond disappointed with this school and some of the staff members. My eldest was so badly bullied he had to transfer classes and my child was still to blame because the boy who was bullying my son had connections to the principal and other admins because his mother worked at the school. This school is not fair to kids who don’t fit a certain criteria.Parent Review1y ago - Coronado High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been a part of this district for 6 years and we appreciate the dedication and passion of everyone that works in and for our Schools. We are a strong knitt community and still have that "small town feel" that is sometimes lost in other schools.Academically, I have a daughter that had struggled in math in middle school, and she regain her confidence and is doing great thanks to the "support math" class available as an elective.I would strongly recommend this school.Parent Review8mo ago - Coronado Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school. The school is why we moved to Coronado and we haven't been disappointed! Teachers go out of their way to help students and the content of academics is challenging. Good sports and other club activities. Worth the cost of living in Coronado just to get into this school.Parent Review8mo ago - Check out schools near 701 Margarita Ave.

"Concert in the park every Sunday between Memorial Day and Labor Day. July 4th parade & Christmas parade"

"Coronado is a very dog friendly town. However, the parks are surprisingly closed to off leash dogs (ie throwing a ball). You have to take them to specific dog areas, such as dog beach, or one park in Coronado Cays. "

"There’s a dog beach! But no dog park. So unless you’re up for dealing with sand and wet dogs every time your only option is leash walking or going over the bridge to Balboa Park. "

"The absolute best place I have ever lived. Great for kids and adults. Restaurants near by and ultra safe. This is a go to place to vacation and to live. Love the arts and crafts, beaches and that San Diego is just a 10 minute drive but a million years away. You need to come to Coronado to live the life you always wanted. "
