Description
This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from November 08, 2023
WOW! Incredible renovation of this raised ranch tucked away on an expansive 1.5+ acre lot in the corner of a quiet Bridgewater subdivision. This home has undergone a complete renovation from top to bottom including: brand new kitchen w/ quartz countertops & stainless steel appliances, brand new bathrooms, brand new heating/cooling system, full interior repaint, new carpeting, newly refinished wood floors, replacement windows, newer roof (apprx 1 yr old), newer siding & new driveway. The lower level is partially finished & features open concept living with a beautiful Vermont Castings wood stove just in time for winter. Plenty of unfinished space in the lower level offers opportunity for future expansion; prep work is already in place for the addition of a second full bath. The backyard could be expanded substantially if you so choose, with apprx. 250' feet of wooded uplands from the back of the house to the rear property line. Energy efficiency rated to be similar to new construction!

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI noticed many of these reviews were older, especially the negative ones, so I thought I would give an updated review. I am currently a junior at BR. Since even the latest review, many changes have been made. The school has brought technology into the classroom in the form of online textbooks, no longer needing to lug books to school, and classroom sets of iPads and Chrome Books. Now, starting from freshmen year, you have the option to choose from over 50 courses. Unfortunately, the had to eliminate our study period from the schedule in order to do so, but study is available as an elective. BR is known around the state for having some of the best athletic teams, but we also have other after school options which includes a robotics team that competes nationally, and a very well regarded spring musical program. The school is relatively new. The teachers, like with any school, vary. (It's all a matter of personal opinion.) My class (2016) has some of the best standardized test results in the state, so obviously, we are learning and have credible academics. I know many people, and hopefully myself in a couple years, who are proud to call themselves BR graduates.Student Review9y ago - Mitchell Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe ratios listed are incorrect. There are 25+ kids in each class and with all the residential building happening in town those numbers are going higher and will be 30+ in 2019-20. The town isn't able to meet the requested budget so there will be no new staff added, no new books. The district is struggling.Parent Review4y ago - Bridgewater Middle School
