"it is you normal military town in that there is a constant flow of people moving in and out. the area around the hi liquor store is a high drug area. the police do a good job of patrolling the area."
  • Maggie F.
"I’ve lived here for a year and the people are nice. They keep to themselves but it’s nice and quiet "
  • Trulia User
"a very pleasant place to walk animals. friendly neighbors and they always welcome pets. They dogs never mess in the neighbors yards "
  • Hirlanda P.
"There are no sidewalks to walk their dogs or open patches of grass to let dogs walk it’s mostly paved road "
  • Brian
"No public transportation. No busses or taxis. Uber is the only way around town if you dont drive. Maybe someday."
  • Eva W.
"very calm not aggressive drivers traffic is not very bad most roads are clear the majority of the day."
  • Marie E.
"Great family town everything is within a few miles of drive including stores restaurants recreation. "
  • Yahaira V.
"A quiet and pleasant place. In some urbanizations there are parks for children to play. I like living here."
  • Hansen665
"it's at a dead end which I like but sometimes there is hooligans or the neighbor shooting at our dogs."
  • Shayna S. C.
"There are not many side walks in the area & it’s not well lit. But overall it’s not a horrible area to raise your kids in. Cars speed quite often as well & it is somewhat noisy, but no one really bothers each other. "
  • Shayna S. C.
"Full of military families. Short distance from Gate 4 & short drive from Army Base. It’s cheap & pleasant. "
  • Ashtonscorbin
"Cornfields am wheat farms everywhere and the MOST BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS. The friendly Amish neighbors aren’t bad either. "
  • Mcdonald k.
"It’s a fairly quiet military town. Everyone keeps to themselves but are super friendly when you interact with them. Southern Drawl is the only thing cringe worthy, and if that’s all you have to worry about, you got it pretty good here. "
  • Cw3 J. D.
"I lived here for several years. There is one of the best elementary schools in the area right down the road. There is a new mall area going up around gate 7 of Fort Campbell. You get the best of country life close to post and close to shopping. The best part is there is a road next to the property that is rarely traveled that is good for running, biking or walking your dog on. The Amish own much of the land in the area, so you don't have to worry about new subdivisions popping up all around you. You have three neighbors that can watch your house when you are gone. There is peaceful living close to everything."
  • azulaluna16
"This is a pleasant, quiet neighborhood and feels very safe. Kids play in the streets in the afternoons but are well disciplined about clearing the way for cars. Homes are well maintained and neighbors are friendly. There is fairly high turnover of some homes because it is largely a military community near the north end of Ft. Campbell. If you are single and want nightlife, you'll be more comfortable closer to downtown Clarksville, but for families, this area is tops."
