My children were accepted through the magnet and have been attending Crespo for many years. I absolutely love the admins and teachers. The school offers many activities for the kids and families to participate in throughout the year. The staff all seem to know each child by name. There are a few teachers that do not communicate well with parents and it can be very frustrating. My children love the school and staff and are much happier at Crespo vs their zoned school.

The staff would see someone getting picked and won’t do anything even if the students are crying for help they expect them to handle it themselves but once they do they punished and victim blame the students who got picked on

This school is nothing but a mess! The principal Ruth Peña is not on the students side at all!! She loves to side to those who she’s known longest, and does not listen to her students opinions and request. Everyday I have to worry about my own safety, and that should not be something J have to worry about. The teachers tend to be rude and incredibly inappropriate especially towards the girls it’s sickening!! Me and many other students think that Peña should not be a principal at this school the student do not like her nor does the staff it says a lot about her ways of being a principal.
