Read what parents are saying about Milby High SchoolThis school is nothing but a mess! The principal Ruth Peña is not on the students side at all!! She loves to side to those who she’s known longest, and does not listen to her students opinions and request. Everyday I have to worry about my own safety, and that should not be something J have to worry about. The teachers tend to be rude and incredibly inappropriate especially towards the girls it’s sickening!! Me and many other students think that Peña should not be a principal at this school the student do not like her nor does the staff it says a lot about her ways of being a principal.
Posted by a student on 7/20/2023It has been absolutely awful. I have had to navigate the system on my own. I've heard the staff do not like the Principal. Could this be the reason why they refuse to do work? I hope it's something as childish as this and not their outright lack of concern for the students in the school.

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school its not worth coming here for long hours , because the child of mine had got into an accident because he was on his way home and got into a car crash with how tired he was and that these long hours need to change. and they told me they were going to pass him but they ended up taking most of their classes again......... very disappointed in this school....... 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff, teachers, vice principal and Principal are all wonderful and caring to the kids. They show compassion and patience with each child. Mrs. Luong is the best Pre-K teacher and Mr. Roland is the best 1st grade teacher !
