OPEN HOUSE TO BE SCHEDULED SOON.

We LOVED living in this house but we moved in September 2020 to be closer to work and my sons' schools. I'm keeping the house because I plan to move back when I retire!

This house is very private -- a lush overgrown wall of ivy protects us from the outside, and the walls in the backyard hide the noise. Although we have coyotes in the area, none have ever been able to get into our space, and our cats roam free during the day. NO DEPOSIT FOR ANIMALS, WE LOVE THEM! The house is particularly good for CATS -- we have cat and dog doors in many of the doors, inside and out.

We have plenty of room - 3 good sized bedrooms plus a huge den (which could even be a 4th bedroom). The newly remodeled kitchen is AMAZING -- it's made me a better cook. Plus we have a fish tank in the wall -- James Bond style! (My current tenants put a picture over the fish tank because they didn't want to deal with fish; it's up to you.)

And entertaining here is THE BEST. On one side of the house, we have a beautiful deck and hot tub; on the other side, we have lush landscaping, a great place to hang out and have barbeques. Plus an outdoor office with electricity.

I have personally put my heart and soul into remodeling this house, and much of it is hand-done -- I personally built and painted the 2 walls in the backyard, the Mondrian style office, and lots more.

My tenants just moved out and we're getting the house ready for the next tenants. You can come by before the Open House if you'd like - just text me at the phone # listed below (Zillow won't let me list it here.)

These pictures were taken when I lived in the house, so this is my furniture, but the house is completely empty now!

I hope to rent to someone who will love this house as much as we have. Hope to meet you!

Owner takes care of: (a) gardener to come every 3 months to trim trees and clean up leaves. (b) repairs if anything comes up with the frig/washer/ dryer/dishwasher/etc. (c) "fish guy" - there's a fish tank in the wall of the dining room and I have a guy who takes care of the tank.

Tenant: (a) waters garden. (Plants are all drought-tolerant and do not need much water.) (b) takes care of hot tub, although not much to take care of. Just keep it clean! I used to replace the water in the hot tub about twice a year -- up to you if you want to do that. (c) Tenant pays utilities (i.e., DWP, So Cal Gas, etc).

My hope is that we will develop a friendship because you'll be living in my labor of love! We don't have to get personal, but it's important that we get along.

    "To hunger is a eclectic group of housing. I love how unique it is. People are friendly, they have dogs, they are commonly out walking. It is super quiet there’s lots of wildlife. He wake up to birds chirping, no helicopters, no sirens, it truly is getting out of the city. It is filled with beautiful trees and the only thing I wish we had was better roads and sidewalks. I would highly recommend Tujunga as an up-and-coming community that is near really good schools in La Crecenta that you can get your children into if you live in Tujunga.I think people try to downplay to hunger because they don’t want people finding this location.
