Teachers like being at this school and want to stay here. An active PTA raises a lot of money that is then invested in student success and in making the schools fun community. Staff provide many after school activities like maker’s space (crafts/STEM), art competitions, science fair, battle of the books, night at the museum (history projects) and sports (basketball, football, track, cross country, etc.). Well, the education they got in the Service "seminar school" was awesome. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a freshman at Service High this year, I went to Hanshew for all of middle school and it was terrible. I’m my 7th grade year there were fights everyday and staff did nothing to prevent it. I loved my old choir teacher and 7th grade math and that’s it. Education there is trash and plenty teachers will teach nothing or very little. DO NOT RECOMMEND. The principal is EXTREMELY strict about dress code, but ONLY for the females and doesn’t give two craps about men’s dress code.Other Review1y ago
