"It’s home of the 16th police district in Chicago. It’s home of the Jefferson Park train station along the Blue Line of the CTA elevated train. The Gale Street Inn is located across the street, a famous restaurant known for barbecue ribs. The Copernicus Center is around the corner from the train station which is a large Polish cultural center that used to be a cinema. Home to lots of Polish immigrants and many Polish markets and restaurants and bars. "The reason I chose this neighborhood area is safer place with cops and firemen as our neighbors. So far so good since I lived here. Nothing happened except some criminals tried to break in or stealing anything out of cars especially Amazon, UPS, FedEx packages left on porches. I, myself had no problem but who knows?? I like this neighborhood area!!"
