I have two students at CHS and it’s a great high school with seniors continuing on to an impressive list of colleges. They have a solid AP and honors offering, as well as career training for both college and non-college bound kids. Athletics are robust and the AD is fantastic- very involved and encourages character development as much as performance. Tons of clubs with something for everyone.

This school has been wonderful for my son! As a new student, he has made a ton of friends, the teachers are very kind and caring, and this school provides STEAM, music, art, and PE classes, which not all schools do. We are so happy with the progress he’s made and I feel that he’s getting a well-rounded education.

I think that this school is pretty good overall if you live in the area. Although classes and teachers can be difficult sometimes, it’s easy if you are ok top of your grades and doing well. PE can be unfair at times to certain students, not giving you a pass if you can’t run or if you don’t have a doctors note. (So if you have a broken leg w/out a doctor’s note, you still gotta run) The people there can be nice if you find ones with similar interests as you. Some of the teachers can be really nice, but also really mean, depending on your personality or attitude in the class. Advanced classes are difficult as well, so make sure to ask for help. The counselors will do anything in their power to help, however, they might not always say or give you the advice you want to hear. In general, no, this isn’t the best middle school out there. But, it’s pretty good, even though it can be unfair sometimes.
