I went to Okeeffe as a child had great memories from cheerleading to talent shows etc... I'm now 36 and my 11 year has been at Okeeffe since the head start she is now in the 5th grade When the school turned around to AUSL it was going goo Mrs. Bankhead was a great principal even Mrs.Cap my child was a elite cougar choir etc... but since they have left the school has went down hill no good after school programs soon city year will leave too I have decided since my child makes the grades she will be leaving for sixth grade.

"People are out walking their dogs all the time. The dogs all recognize each other. Many of the dogs are socialized and get along very well with each other and like being walked in packs."

"Although the housing on Jeffrey blvd is historic and full, you live in a food desert. You also have no parking. It makes better sense for residents without cars to live in this block. My knowledge of the area goes back to the 1960’s and it isn’t the same environment anymore. "

"Aside from its residents, being close to the water is beautiful . The apartments have potential . The Walgreens is convenient as it is the only grocery store close by. "

"This is an historic district with homes of unique architectural stylings. It is within easy walking distance to Lake Michigan, two golf courses, the Museum of Science and Industry and the soon to be built, Obama Library."
