I’m a straight A nerd and even i can confirm this place stinks

The school has great staff that love the kids amd treat them like their own

I too attended Green Hills Elementary School. 2 years in K-4 and all the way to 8th grade year. This school is the best and most hard working school in the District. Each teacher specifically works for the students needs and works toward making the students the best they can be. Most of the teachers there are amazing. I'm happy to say that most of the teachers that work and have worked there have always put the kids first and tried to help in any way that they could! My favorite teachers, to whom I believe was the best there was John Lewis, Vickie White, Brenda Blanton, Andy Howard, Nancy Cantrell and Jonathan Perkins (Now Principle). There's obviously a lot of amazing teachers there that, if given the choice, I'd take them with me throughout my education in life. Pat Baker is also a very good teacher there. Thomas Collins, Mrs. Engle, Mrs. Nolan, Mrs. Linda Gale and Mrs. Rhoda was also amazing past teachers there. I miss the days of attending Green Hills, even as being well past a Freshman. This school is a place where you can't go wrong, despite the rumors of the place. I'd send any of my future kids to this school, depending on if it's still there. The past Principal, Darlene Brock, was an amazing Principal. Each teacher gave off a home feeling inside the school which is why I honestly believe that I grew up inside that school. And the janitors was even amazing. Steve Callahan, Mrs. Loretta, and Milton Caldwell was all a part of my family if I chose to say. Each teacher up there was my family, and they treated me as such too.

The scores has gotten better.. They need to assist you better in the office... The school has been redone and looks so much better..

I met with one of my grandsons teacher yesterday at Wallins Elem. I was so impressed with her. She had so many great ideas on teaching. I could see in her eyes that all she wanted to do is reach her students anyway she could. It is refreshing to see this instead of can't wait to get out of here attiude.

Despite the current poor reviews of this school it is a safe and caring institution for students to attend.
