2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCrossland HS has improved greatly over the past few years..... There are excellent programs in CTE (Career and Technical Education) at the school. including CISCO (Information Technology), Culinary Arts, HVAC, Masonry, Barbering, Cosmetology, Auto Tech, Project Lead the Way. etc... Students are receiving National Certifications and have received work via the programs..... Check out the CTE programs... My son passed the CISCO Certification and now works for the Government in IT...(Information Technology) and makes over 100,000 after 3 years there....Great teachers!Parent Review1y ago - J. 1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child had a passion for learning, since entering J Frank dent elementary school that passion has diminished greatly. I'm tired of her not coming home with homework. The teacher makes the excuse," the printer is down." This is not acceptable and it's not going to be tolerated, teaching our children is why these adults became teachers in the first place. Helping the kids learn something that they can take with them through life, creating a better difference in their mindset and opening their young minds to better expectations. I am unsatisfied terribly in the decision of letting her go to the school, its not her fault she didn't have any say in what school she could choose and unfortunately we had to move. We moved from a good County, where she attended a great school. I'm just so sad to see that this is accepted and yet nobody's being punished or penalize, you call the front office nobody wants to hear you, you left feeling as though your reaching out for nothing. Because there's no homework at all it saddens me horribly. I feel as a parent that I'm failing my child.Parent Review9y ago - Thurgood Marshall Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur student from another school had her cell phone stolen on a field trip by a student from this school - as proven by the tracker app which pinged it at this location on the same day it was stolen, and my contact with the principal was dismissive. His response was to bring in cops if we had a case, otherwise, he washed his hands of it. Kind of says everything you need to know about the school's culture, students, and administration. I don't think anyone with "options" would attend this school. Run don't walk if you are thinking of buying in this area.Other Review4y ago - Check out schools near 6500 Saint Ignatius Dr #6201.
