    "Glass and needles, trash, loud noises at night (gunshots, fireworks, explosions) not many grassy areas or dog parks that are safe and kept clean. But 20 minute walk to lake Merritt (in front of fairyland) where you can socialize your dog. The downtown area is much cleaner than the neighborhoods below telegraph going towards west Oakland. "

    "It's fine. Hoover-Foster ( or Ghosttown, as many know it) has its problems, mostly due to all the encampments around. It's mostly safe, but I wouldn't walk around at night with headphones on or anything. "
