  • Whitney W.
"It’s a safe city for children minus no street lights and sidewalks cutting in an out. I don’t have children myself but I see lots of children toys at houses on my morning walks but I don’t see neighbors children playing together (not negatively but I grew up on a dead end and all the children played together). Drivers typically drive the speed limit but the inconsistency of 2-way stops and 4-way stops “confuse” some drivers so be aware. Great for walking! Lovely breeze. Large lots with houses. I wouldn’t change my childhood home but if I could have chosen a second it would have been around here."
  • Angie V.
"Dark but safe. Most of the streets have limited street lights but it’s a good thing because you can see the stars in the sky! "
  • Skottj
"Tons of dog owners walking their dogs. Pretty safe from crime while walking you have to watch for the crazy drivers here."
  • Dan S.
"Lived here a year. Beautiful area close to mountains. Feel safe, no problems around Temple City or Arcadia area. Everything I need is near by. "
  • Karen S.
"If four years ago this neighborhood was nice, back then neighbors still talk to each other, but now, Too much theft, everyone afraid to stranger whom ring the bell, now it’s not safe to leave package in front door, "
  • Van N.
"we have block parties every now and then. There's many activities being held at live oak park. There are family movies nights "
  • Sassaphrase

  • Sassaphrase
"family friendly neighborhood with lots of kids and walking. friendly neighborhood some busy streets "
  • Sassaphrase
"i don't have kids but the busy streets may be a safety hazard. nearby schools though and I see kids walking"
  • Sassaphrase
"people walk their dogs all the time and pick up after their dogs. quiet streets and not apt of traffic"
  • Josef L.
"It’s a charming mix of small-town Americana and crazy rich Asia. I grew up here and couldn’t help but return. It has a piece of my heart and I love it."
  • Pamela

  • Marcel
"concerts in the park a lot of great restaurants and parks. we're just moved here so not sure of all of the events just yet. "
  • Sandra O.
"The area is very peaceful and quiet. I have a here my whole life. Neighbors are always very friendly but many of them keep to themselves. In the event of an emergency… First responders are quick to respond. There is convenience in the city location as were located near several freeways and malls… Retail and grocery are also not very far and actually within walking distance. "
  • Maybeitsmebaby
"I’ve lived here my whole life and the community is small and diverse. Plenty of good places to eat. I think it’s safe for families."
  • Sandra O.
"Friendly, clean and peaceful. I grew up here and still live here because it’s close enough to the big cities without the chaos"
