10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been very happy with Isbell. My kids love it. The principal is very involved and you will see her at all the PTA events as well as outside in 25 degree weather helping with the carpool line. My kids have had great teachers so far, only one who was so-so. My only complaint is that the school is over capacity. There are nearly 1000 students. Some sort of re-zoning needs to happen and likely will. It’s not the schools fault everyone is moving to Frisco though.Parent Review4y ago8 Reviews - Liberty High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI gave these ratings because the learning experience was honestly underwhelming. Some teachers mainly read directly from slides, and when students ask questions, they sometimes seem annoyed rather than supportive. It also felt like certain teachers favored students involved in sports while being rude or dismissive toward others. Another frustrating part was being constantly told not to use AI, while some assignments clearly appeared to be created using AI tools themselves. If the school expects students not to rely on AI, teachers should set the same example. Regarding safety, I rated it one star because there were too many unnecessary drills, especially the “secure and hold” drills, which often caused stress and disruption. There were also students openly using inappropriate language in front of assistant principals, and it would often be ignored because they seemed familiar with them. Meanwhile, other students would get in trouble immediately for the same behavior. That inconsistency was frustrating to see. Another issue was the lack of guidance when it came to important courses and planning for the future. Many students are expected to figure things out on their own instead of receiving clear explanations or support from counselors and staff.Other Review1mo ago23 Reviews - Vandeventer Middle School

"A rapidly growing area with good schools, several churches easily accessible, and plenty of shopping. Though we are close to Dallas there is about all you need within 5 to 10 miles. As a result we seldom get far from home. "

"Frisco used to be a small farm community. People would stop in the street to chat without getting honked at. I miss that. "

"Beautiful neighborhoods but City managers have become greedy in development, tax collection, and approving too many high density living developments. Frisco is far gone from being a quaint small city with personality and considerate folks to a busy metro with irritable people."

"Frisco Square hosts so many event and activities throughout the year. There is also Toyota Stadium if you’re up for a soccer game. Too many amazing things to name. Main Street is the most charming downtown vibe with so many outdoor eateries and shops."
