  • Erika Veloz
"There’s a center down the street for the community where you can get helpful resources, food, STD testing & more. "
  • Trulia User
"Always bumpy, always damaged, always dirty, never fixed, and always covered in cones. A city that wouldn’t waste a second to build a new hotel but absolutely take years to fix anything and reinvest back into itself"
  • Trulia User
"safe in neighborhood that will allow the children to room free around their home. landscaping should be nice "
  • Trulia User
"Huntridge is an historic neighborhood, part of downtown and Fremont. Life is Beautiful events, parades, museums. "
  • Trulia User
"It's by the Arts District. All parades happen in walking distance. The weekends are always busy with people coming to the local shops."
  • Trulia User
"Traffic once you get away from the houses. It’s downtown, and the city is always reconstructing something. "
  • Ronnie Q.
"I wouldn't recommend bringing the kids to this area to trick or treat. It's more adult oriented. "
  • Juan S.
"Not the best area for raising kids. Lots of homeless people roaming around and trespassing on a daily basis. There’s not much respect for private property in this area. It’s city living so it’s pretty “normal” I guess? "
  • Juan S.
"Lots of people walk their dogs but don’t pick up after them. Especially in the rougher areas which makes it look a bit more run down than it already is. "
  • Scoyy
"I don’t have a dog but I assume people that do own dogs enjoy walking them around the neighborhood. "
  • Kenna C.
"This area is nice for younger people or people that are here for the night life. I’ve lived here about 6 months and enjoy it. But would like more of a homey feeling that this place doesn’t have. "
  • Kenna C.
"I’ve lived here for about 4 months. I feel safe walking at night sometimes. It’s a little bit of a pricey area which is annoying but I love it. It’s very up and coming. "
  • Serafina.ordaz
"The neighborhood is popular with tourists and locals. There is great restaurants downtown and plenty of shopping. "
  • GK.
"There are a lot of dogs that are taken for walks each day. Little dog to large dogs. There’s no grass or parks nearby so the dogs just have a concrete jungle walk. It gets prettier when you start to go to wards the neighborhood where the attorney offices are located. "
  • Rob W
"I love it down here. I’ve been here for 11 years and never had a single problem. It’s quiet, mostly, and there’s a real sense of community here. The neighborhood is growing rapidly as well. "
  • Rob W
"I’ve been in downtown since 2008 and I’ve been watching this neighborhood grow and flourish and it’s only getting better. "
  • KG
"Best coffee spot (PublicUs)right behind our places. Walking distance to Fremont, restaurants and bars. "
  • Barbara J.
"Local bars, an old scary downtown turning into a fun exciting place to be. Eventually it will be livable w/kids but not quite yet. Adults that love art, music, festivals, restaurants and bars, this is your place "
  • Lynnie B.
"it is pet friendly and very quiet neighborhood but the neighbors are a different story LOL close to everything within walking distance "
  • Lanette M.
"Downtown Vegas is an area in search of its identity. It is caught between the nostalgia of "Old Vegas", the legal / political / civic center of a metropolis and a trendy gentrification complete with funky eateries and housing. "
  • Lanette M.
"This is downtown Las Vegas... cool place to live for young adults but not ideal for children. Fremont street is 2 blocks north and there are lots of events... Be prepared to be patient as traffic is horrible during Life is Beautiful or the many running events and parades. "
  • Ksweet1012
"this neighborhood is ok ive been here for some months now it has alot of crazy people roaming the streets but other than that its good "
  • Tkw v. 1.
"Fremont Street always has things going on. it's what makes living in this area so awesome. there is life is beautiful, bike fest so much here."
  • Adali M.
"The Mayfair area of downtown has a lot of young families. But there aren’t necessarily any parks close by and the only public school that downtown has is extremely overcrowded. Downtown is definitely not child friendly."
  • Adali M.
"Downtown is definitely more suitable for young adults with no children. The closest reasonably priced grocery store is an Albertsons that doesn’t necessarily have a wide variety of products. And although there are bus stops and access to taxis or ride sharing services, I personally can’t fathom not having a vehicle to get around, especially in this 100+ heat."
  • Starryeyedstyle
"Love it! Everything about the neighborhood and the atmosphere is amazing! The weather is always beautiful too!"
  • Tony
"In the redevelopment area of downtown. Walking distance to Container Park, Freemont Experience, Downtown Hotels & Casinos. Can walk or bike, cool."
