"People have a tendency to drive too fast down a residential streets. Children need to watch carefully if walking or riding bikes. The ATASCOSA River Park is very nice and has a skateboard area, playground equipment and water features. There is also a city pool. "
  • Beverlyheffner4
"Most people in Pleasanton have a great love for animals. We have animal shelters and people look out for lost pets. There is a very nice park where people can take their dogs for walks."
  • Beverlyheffner4
"There are several events for families several times during the year. Cowboy Homecoming, Merry on Main at Christmas time craft shows and other activities."
  • Beverlyheffner4
"There are few if any sidewalks. Children should be careful playing outside near the street. Difficult for riding bikes because people drive too fast on most streets. Safer for kids to play at the River Park. Skate park is there and safe to ride bikes. Local churches have events for children. Also, not many activities for senior citizens. It is a good place to live."
  • Beverlyheffner4
"Most people here are pet owners and love them. There is no dog park but there is a huge River Park where dogs are allowed but owners should always pick up after them. "
  • Vanessa Seguin
"There are Barking dogs constantly. The neighborhood is Otherwise quiet and beautiful. No sidewalks ."
  • Mrs.Wilson
"There's a Merry on Main St during Christmas time, fireworks and parade for the 4th, homecoming parades."
  • Aleshiamcd83
"I love this little town only thing that bothers me is how trashy people keep their yards and nothing is done about it"
  • Rachael D.
"There are not many sidewalks, if any. The new park has a pathway to run on and they are slowly adding sidewalks through out Pleasanton."
  • Heffner.beverly
"most dogs are kept inside or fenced area. occasionally you may see a stray. it is a pet friendly community."
  • kevo m
"Dog owners would like that there is a park by the school with trails. It’s a nice neighborhood but residents don’t obey the posted speed limits and there aren’t hardly any sidewalks. "
  • Carolheinz3

  • Chloe S.
"wonderful very nice people, an occasional weirdo but that’s everywhere . everyone usually sticks to themselves and are very kind "
  • TJ
"I don’t know of any of the neighborhood specific events. The community has some events like Strawberry Festival and the Cowboy Homecoming. I rarely attend these events. "
  • Jose M.
"There’s no complaints. The park I live in could use fencing because it only has barb wire but still very pleasant"
  • Unspecified
"Small community. Neighbors wave when they see you. Mom and pop stores. Country town and traditions. "
  • Alison J.
"I don't really live in a neighborhood. I have a next door neighbor, and their neighbors are a small apartment complex. Everything else is commercial property. "
  • Veronica B.
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for going on 2 years now. Very good neighborhood no problems or issues. No break in"
  • Courtney C. H. B.
"This area is PERFECT for people who want to be away from it all but have easy access to everything! Beach is only a little over an hour and a half. San Antonio is 30min to an hour depending on where you are going. But the stars shine and the birds sing and country is all around you in this little piece of heaven!"
