    "People have a tendency to drive too fast down a residential streets. Children need to watch carefully if walking or riding bikes. The ATASCOSA River Park is very nice and has a skateboard area, playground equipment and water features. There is also a city pool. "

    "There are several events for families several times during the year. Cowboy Homecoming, Merry on Main at Christmas time craft shows and other activities."

    "There are few if any sidewalks. Children should be careful playing outside near the street. Difficult for riding bikes because people drive too fast on most streets. Safer for kids to play at the River Park. Skate park is there and safe to ride bikes. Local churches have events for children. Also, not many activities for senior citizens. It is a good place to live."

    "This area is PERFECT for people who want to be away from it all but have easy access to everything! Beach is only a little over an hour and a half. San Antonio is 30min to an hour depending on where you are going. But the stars shine and the birds sing and country is all around you in this little piece of heaven!"
