About this House

This is a private, basement-level apartment with tile floors, large full bath, private deck, garage storage, gas range and full kitchen. Note, the "loft" seen in photos is no longer there. Photos will be updated soon. The apartment is located in a private home which is set up with four separate units. The unit is nestled downstairs so no one even knows you're here!

Note - because of the location of this unit, this apartment limited natural lighting. It does offer exceptional privacy and excellent temperature control! (cool in summer, warm in winter.)

No smoking, some pets will be considered, one off-street parking spot plus garage space (shared with another tenant) for storage, shared laundry area, wifi, and directTV. Rent includes all utilities (gas, electric, water, trash, internet, tv). Reasonable pets will be considered but there is a dog on the property already so she gets to make the final decision :-D

Rent will be reduced by $100 for single tenant.

Please note, because this is a downstairs unit and in a high-density area, you will hear sounds from upstairs but most people don't mind. If you are sensitive to sound, this won't be a good fit for you. That said, my prior tenant was here for 14 years without issue.

    "The neighborhood is a mix of retired people and new families. It’s not as communal as other cities I’ve lived in with many people driving in and out of the community and then staying inside or in their backyard. The gates parks prohibit kids meeting there unless they belong to an association. It’s odd to see a gated park that children cannot play on , meet new kids that live across the street, etc. I’m used to larger cities where there are more public places to gather, meet your neighbors, and create a stronger community."

Package theft does happen and people don’t clean up after their pets well. The rent is also really high around here. "
