"This neighborhood has a bad reputation because of the surrounding areas that are well lit with crime, but this neighborhood is actually very quiet, wholesome, friendly, and active. People go on walks and even bring their kids to walk with them. There aren’t very many people in this area that you don’t see on a regular basis. The people that live here are known well and are genuinely nice people all around. "
  • Kourtnie.escobar14
"There are actually plenty of dog owners/walkers in this area. Very well trained and calm, seems like."
  • Soniaochoa3
"This area is mostly elderly people and with the apartments “la casita” is not safe anymore, too many gunshots at night and during daylight. We need more police patrols in the area. "
  • Arellano_sonia2017
"This area has a nice park and is family oriented, not safe for kids to ride bikes like in other areas but is safe but should always be supervised there is danger everywhere "
  • Trulia User
"I like a have been living by this area 23 years is grate because I have access to everything . Year by year "
  • Trulia User
"My neighborhood is pretty quiet. Very peaceful and nice. Everyone knows each other and are invited over to each other’s houses. Keep each other informed. "
  • Trulia User
"Good neighborhoods . Nice people. Plenty of places to eat and buy groceries or just shop around. Close to major highways "
  • Trulia User
"other loose dogs that live in the same area they don't have owners they are just stray dogs that walk around "
  • Trulia User
"Very quiet neighborhood, everyone knows everyone, if something is happening at one house, everyone will know about it, and are very welcomed to come by. Mostly full of older families."
  • Cervantesfamily4
"Northline Park is a great place to take the kids to run and ride bicycles. It also has a pool for swimming in the summer."
  • Ellie
"I’ve lived in this side of town for around 15 years. It’s a high crime area. The schools are below standard. Lots of littering and people that don’t care about the environment they live in. Lots of stray animals. We hear gun shots a minimum of once a week. "
  • Ash R.
"i mean its good if you have a yard but other than walking your dog out theres a lot of loose dogsin the area and cats "
  • Gonzalezy88
"As long as you mind your own business, you will live very happy and comfortable. I love online shopping and have never had an issue"
  • Soniaochoa3
"You will always see friendly neighbors walking their dogs is also a very quiet area. mostly seniors live around and we watch each others "
  • Martinezyasmin12

"Nice calm and very peaceful neighborhood i been here 6 years never have i experience any burglary or violence its the type you can leave home and come back to your house safely unharmed even when i have left for weeks i come home to everything in its place "
  • Metromayra
"Lots of stray dogs. Some are territorial and will attack you. You need to walk around with a stick. "
  • Yvie V.
"There are aggressive strays everywhere. People don't care about their dogs around here. They either keep them chained up or leave them to fend for themselves and get hit by cars. This is not a safe neighborhood to walk your dog in. "
  • mikeybikey
"very easy. Bus 56 goes to Northline Transit Center then to TMC Transit Center. And the bus stops very close to my house. If I go by car, Traffic lights are well timed to allow minimum number of stops when traffic is light early in the morning."
  • Garciaivette96
"Metro buses drive by. calm neighborhood haven't had any complaints. i know half of the people that live in my block. "
  • Kellyregan00
"Lots of stray dogs, lots of parvo, lots of dogs with homes not in gates. Keep your dogs vaccinated. And be sure to walk him or her on a leash."
  • Castillob90
"I’m not from around here but I work here and I usually see there’s a lot of quiet around this neighborhood there’s not a lot of crime and there’s a fire station police station close by"
  • Garza g.
"Living in Northside Northline has many benefits. You have access to most freeways to get around town, there are so many great Mexican restaurants and taquerias nearby, the area has become increasingly desired to live in so it is difficult and/or expensive to find property here. I have lived here all my life and I love it here and I look forward to buying another property in the area in the near future. JG."
  • Belinda n.
"I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 10 years and I love it. It has I45 and airline close and shopping centers as well. "
  • Lakrecia E.
"the people are what make it unique and real all at once. family has been since my great-grandmother was a little girl. in my opinion it is the Heart of the City."
  • Gudino v.
"I’ve lived here for almost 18 years and love being here. We have a park, gas station, and several places to eat all in walking distance. We don’t really hear anything bad around here"
  • Janie g.
"I have lived in this area for 30 years and it has gone from a home owned neighborhood to owner rented houses where renters do not respect their neighbors anymore, sad but fact."
