3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been attending this school since my sophomore year, and honestly this is the worst school I had ever went to. I wanted to give it a below average due to the hardworking teachers, but I feel like that will not help anyone who is looking for an honest review. During testing days, whoever was in charge of testing told me that I had to take an Algebra I test despite taking one and passing it in my other school. The math classes are a wreck just like any other American public school. For an assignment, my other classmates and I went to a class where there were a bunch of foreign students who spoke little English. I only saw one teacher teaching the class of students who came from different parts of the world. I am not sure how effective their teaching was. The new school nurse knows nothing about privacy. I was in a rush and my stomach was in pain, so I asked the nurse is I could use the bathroom. I could not and she asked if I pooped right in front of two students. The guidance councilor said I was missing a class during my 2nd semester Freshman year. I was then put into another history class.Student Review9y ago - Dower Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePrincipal, counselor, teachers can’t be bothered to help resolve issues with bullies pushing and punching your child. They do not return your calls. Principal emailed us stating the counselor would call us. No call ever came. They just pass it off to the next person with no resolution. This is not a safe place for your child to attend school. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe were excited our daughter made it into this school as her teachers had recommended it for her. Shortly after her first month she said she was 'gender fluid'. When asked what that meant she simply replied that what she had been told by her teachers. I think we have more pressing issues in our schools then teacher telling our children such things. Can we not just let them be children??Parent Review1y ago
