"Parades, special events, and Facebook group page. School and community events. Neighboring suburbs have great events. "
  • Scott S.
"Dog owners shouldn’t have much of a problem in this neighborhood. There are a few parks in walking distance that they can utilize for exercise. One issue is that there are stray “outdoor” cats. They mark territory and kill grass so a dog may be aware of these scents and I have seen behavior which a dog becomes nervous or intimidated by these scents or they can try and dig. "
  • Sandra N.

"It’s very safe and there are tons of businesses and restaurants around. All of my neighbors are incredibly friendly and I’ve never received or made any formal complaints. "
  • B
"horrible. this area is surrounded by trains that block traffic anywhere from 10 mins to 40 mins w no pattern or warning. traffic is also heavy with the airport nearby. "
  • Cody R.
"I've lived in this neighborhood for 3 years. It's a great, friendly neighborhood. There's little restaurants and grocery stores that we walk to every week. We see familiar faces around and make friends with neighbors. It's really a great place. The one negative thing is that it's a bit loud at times (airport) but you adjust pretty quickly, and the Midway-provided windows block the sound really well."
  • Rakanhammoudeh
"Been living in the area for 3 years now. Can’t really complain much besides street parking can be horrible sometimes. "
  • Norman V. I.
"There are lots of fire and police officers. Great schools for all levels of children. We have made so many great friends since living here."
