I am very happy with the education and care provided by this school. The teachers are very supportive, kind, and dedicated to helping each child grow both academically and personally. My child has improved a lot in studies as well as confidence.The school maintains good discipline and a safe environment, which gives us peace of mind as parents. The communication between teachers and parents is also very good, and they always keep us informed about our child’s progress.Along with academics, the school also focuses on extracurricular activities, which helps in overall development. I truly appreciate the efforts of the teachers and management.I would highly recommend this school to other parents.

my son was in the bathroom when 2 thugs came in and recorded him using the facilities, I then here these "videos" surfaced the internet?! This is horrible and was traumatic to my son. The school did not take action what so ever.

This is my child’s second year at KMSSI. The campus is clean, well-managed, and quietly located in the Upper Marlboro suburbs. At this school, the teachers and staff genuinely care about students and strive to create a positive learning environment. The staff's communication style could improve, as announcements are sometimes shared at the last minute and lack key details. Parents are routinely bypassed when delivering critical info about opportunities for participation in sports, SGA, clubs, and leadership activities. Often only the students are notified and parents are left out of the loop. The PTA seems to help close the gap with families. Still, the school is showing real progress under Principal Strother’s and Vice Principal Greene’s leadership. There are fewer fights on campus and academics are clearly a focus. The school's Spanish Immersion program also makes this school unique, offering students an opportunity to develop valuable bilingual skills in a diverse environment.
