"It’s family friendly and safe. It’s a very secluded area but yet so close to so many major stores. Definitely a plus being two miles away from the most beautiful beaches here in NJ. I feel that owning property in this area is a long term investment and will provide for many fond memories for generations to come. "
  • Jebennett714
"They would like that the community has a Facebook page that would communicate if the dog is lost as well as the police notify. Not crazy busy "
  • Morethanmagnetic
"Parades, events, beach fun! Close to restaurants and cool shops near Asbury Park. Irish festival, Memorial Day parade"
  • Trulia User
"Wonderful community and school system! My neighborhood doesn’t have a lot of children but we live 5 blocks from the beach so we are very lucky to live where we live! "
  • Victoria N.
"All the festivals and town events. There are lots of good restaurants and bars in the area that also host cool events"
  • Whaddupceichin
"They would love it. Close to beach and parks. Sidewalks and friendly neighborhoods !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
  • maribeth
"Spring Lake Heights is the town just over the railroad tracks, about 4 blocks in from the Atlantic Ocean in Spring Lake, NJ. Prices drop precipitously from very expensive Spring Lake to very community-oriented, convenient, desirable Spring Lake Heights. The two towns even share a zip code and Spring Lake Golf Club and the infamous Hoffman's Ice Cream are actually in Spring Lake Heights! Excellent, highly rated elementary school. NY commuters live here as well as a growing number of folks who have discovered what a wonderful place this is to have a second home getaway. As our financial planner told us: "Some people need the swagger of a certain address. You guys didn't care if it was Spring Lake or Spring Lake Heights and look at the memories you have made there and the money you saved to spend on so many other fun things in life, by buying 4 blocks farther West, but still a bike ride to the ocean." "
  • Barbara B.
"Family has lived in this town for more than 100 years! Great place for children. Close to all amenities. Church, town, train, bus, GSP all nearby. One hour to NYC, 1.5 hrs to AC"
