Stately home on north edge of the lovely West Side Neighborhood. Gorgeous kitchen, manicured lawn with extensive perennial flower beds in rear private yard. Enter by way of a new porch to a foyer of a bygone age. There are plaster moldings over the archways, crown molding, 9-foot ceilings and hardwood floors underfoot. The light fixture is original. To the left is a very large living room with gas fireplace, brass register covers and some period furniture. Off the living room is a white sunporch complete with screens and glass and views of the gardens. Chinese lanterns adorning the rafters can stay. To the right of the foyer is a formal dining room with beamed ceiling, built-in double corner hutches flanking an alcove with white wood panels and 4 mini windows.

"West Village is chock full of wonderful, diverse people. Everyone is very neighborly, and considerate of one and other. Our population ranges from school aged youth to retirees. We are able to walk to downtown Lansing; a pleasant walk through the Genessee neighborhood with all its equally historic homes and exciting renovations. "
