"I love the more I grew up here in Lamar and Barton County area for 50 years erase my kids and liberal Missouri which is just 18 miles west of Lamar we live there for 20. Lamar is a very easy town to get around in this clean Scott good law enforcement one thing I don't care for we do not have a grocery store Walmart guess the only way of groceries. you have a very nice School three diferent scool building the high school the middle school or Junior high and then we have the elementary grades kindergarten through6th grade middle School. many churches of all denominations very good veterinarians a small hospital with I'll serve them that one for quick fix doctors.. the most crowd of sites in Lamar is Harry S Truman's birthplace beautiful Lamar city park and our beautiful historic Barton County square and courthouse. we've got four Banks and a few eating places. it's just a grand little town"
