What Locals Say about Phelps Grove

  • Lindsaythieman
"Lots of stuff for kids and families to do in the area. Its safe, but I don't let my grade schooler walk alone. "
  • Trulia User
"Neighbors look out for one another here for suspicious activity at all. The neighborhood watch is really good here."
  • Travis P.
"Great neighborhood for walking dogs. Close to the park beautiful landscaped yards a very peaceful and enjoyable place to walk your dog! "
  • Kate
"unsafe place. live right next to a halfway home and cant wait to move. teenagers party and drink every weekend."
  • Lcholbert
"I've lived in this neighborhood for 5 years. It is very dog friendly. I love walking my dogs and seeing my neighbors out walking also."
  • Haleybkeene
"College students occasionally loud and irresponsible at 3am. I have a sketchy brothel a few doors down from me. Otherwise quaint and convenient. "
  • "Don't let crime statistics scare you, the Mercy ER is very nearby which receives lots of mandatory reports that often skew crime statistics. Phelps Grove park is in easy walking distance. Other places you can walk to include Starbucks, Bass Pro, a grocery store and Sunshine Grade School. This neighborhood could easily be considered the center of town, nearly everything Springfield has to offer is within a 5 minute drive. The neighborhood itself is very quiet. The homes vary from quaint to fabulous and tenants consist mostly of older couples or professionals. There are very few rentals."
