This is a great school. The teachers are wonderful! They go above and beyond. Parent input and involvement is valued.

The middle school principal exploited 25K+ from an elderly adult under the duress that his mother would be put out on the street by the elderly adults family if anything where to happen to the elderly adult . The middle school principal requested the 25K+ in cash so that the middle school principal could conceal it from a FAFSA he was doing for his child's enrollment to college. The middle school principal has also taken time off from work to build a garage and do renovations at his home while still being paid because he was available by phone. The middle school principal has exploited an elderly adult for money, defrauded the government, and Belmont taxpayers. The middle school principal is suppose to be a role model for children and yet he has no moral compass.

My kids are in Kgtn and 1st grad this year. We have had success for the past 3 years here, Pre-k through 1st. However Belmont just hiked up the (already high) tax rate this year (2015) to similar rates of the top ranking schools in the state so I hope the money will trickle into the schools. New Principal and Asst. Principal this year, so there is certainly some learning pains but I see the Principal out greeting kids often, getting involved in after schools activities etc so she seems very interested tin the whole experience. I applaud my kids teachers, Ms. Jalbert and Mrs. Smith and highly reccommend them to incoming students.
