4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWeymouth High School is a disgrace. Institutionalized bullying , discrimination by staff members . As a parent of grown children and grandchildren and is involved with my family’s education, I would never imagine in this day and age to see a hostile learning environment and safety concerns within a school. Disgraceful behavior by staff members, hitting my grandson, bullying and stigmatizing. The department of Education is aware of a lot more that is happening at Weymouth High.Parent Review1mo ago - Frederick C Murphy

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a true community school - before/after school program, special enrichment courses at no charge thanks to the dedicated parent council, teachers who really get to know their students due to small classrooms and all the amenities you expect in a city school in a family-oriented environment. Plenty of opportunities to get involved as much as you want without pressure. New principal with fresh ideas and a supportive staff who seem to know every child by name. The school nurse is caring and knowledgeable. We will miss this school!Parent Review9y ago - Abigail Adams Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethis school is horrible my kid went to this school for 2 years and came back with severe traumatic issues that they now have to see a counselor for, I advise other parents to never even consider sending their kids to this horrible school.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 59 Vine St.

"It is a very nice, sought after neighborhood and with great schools. We are close to public transportation and Boston. There are great local restaurants and lots of family activities nearby. There is a beautiful 2 mile walking park around a lovely pond with picnic area less than a mile away. We have a brand new public library less than a mile away also. Weymouth also has a beach and delightful walking park called Webb Park."

"Friendly and neighborhoods are safe for the dogs. Several parks to drive or walk to. Easily accessible for owners to walk with the street lights on the main or the side roads. I’ve even seen some dog bag poles throughout certain parks which is great to keep everything clean. I don’t personally have a dog but i have seen plenty in the neighborhood to know the neighborhood is welcoming of them"

"Easy access to highway into the city and carpool fast lane avoids traffic. MBTA bus runs locally and efficiently and subway and commuter rail is close by. "

"We have block parties in summer. Sports events at the schools are very popular and extremely well supported by not just parents but friends and neighbors. Trick or treat is a big deal with all neighbors enthusiastically decorating outside their homes and participating when the kids hit each doorstep for candy. Christmas is special too with packed churches and beautifully lit and decorated homes. "
