    "many community events, parades, town fairs, movie nights, senior luncheons, farmers markets, volunteer fire departments, local police. "

    "Events for all spring and summer holidays. pancake bfsts, chicken BBQs, etc at fire depts and churches and the like. Every Fourth of July one fire house has an open house with free hot dogs and free soda for all. Beer is available at a nominal cost. They have raffles and games for the little ones. There is also a 5K run and all are invited to participate. It's lots of fun for al ahesl Penny socials, etc. Xmas tree lighting and Polar Express in December. All sorts of neighborhood and town activities to be involved in! Bethel town park offers summer camp for younger kids and work opportunities for teens as counselors and also lifeguards. Mid summer another part of town puts on a big deal with all day food and live music. All sorts of things are for sale, we have some very talented people here in our town! It's a great day that everyone looks forward to!"
