Amazing opportunity right in the heart of downtown Greenwich. This is one of the most sought-after locations in Greenwich. This quiet tree lined one way street is close to everything the downtown area has to offer, minutes from train shops and restaurants. This fully entitled property gives you the ability to build two luxury condos. Also, this could be a fantastic location to build a beautiful in town single family home with nice deep back yard. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has gotten a bad rap due to local politics, for those moving into the town.Cannot find a better principal to start off! Mr. H ALWAYS makes time & listens to students & parents! We liked that this school was not as big as others in the area. Teachers are caring & go the extra mile. Communication is good & we always feel welcome at the school. Our kids feel the same with the student population. The building does need updating…but that is true for MOST Greenwich school buildings! There is always something to go…sports, arts, clubs, and so on.We loved the “central location” of this school. Easy transition from the nearby elentary schools & just around the corner from the high school…EASY for busy families!Overall WONDERFUL experience with this school.Parent Review1y ago - Greenwich High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat sports and arts help drive this amazing feeder school where kids get into (mostly) the colleges of their choice. State champs in Soccer and Football this year too. Good teachers and administrators who care.Parent Review1y ago - Julian Curtiss School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePeople move to Greenwich for the low taxes and supposedly great public school system. We haven't seen anything exceptional here, except for great diversity in classrooms which was a selling point for us. Greenwich Public Schools continues to underfund this school. As wealthy as Greenwich is 41% of students qualify for free/reduced school meals and 21% are SPED here. You'd think this would have GPS prioritize resources, but currently they're trying to pull away foreign languages from K-2 to save some money - Julian Curtiss is designated as a magnet school for world languages which makes that even more appalling. As with any school some teachers are incredible and some not so much. Consequently, your child may thrive for a year and then disintegrate the next - regardless grades will be massaged to ensure nobody is failing. There's never any big changes here; a lot of listening, but the status quo will remain until people stop considering Julian Curtiss as a magnet choice and go to better performing elementary schools in town.Parent Review4mo ago - Check out schools near 59 Locust St.

With. the exception of the high cost, it's a very warm, exclusive neighborhood with mansions & working class ppl. lots of celebrities move here bc if safety & school system.
