5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere is not ONE single thing I could say positive about this school. Except maybe, the school secretary is very sweet and tries to be as helpful as she can be. The teachers that go above and beyond to help the students, the ones that are passionate about shaping these young peoples mind I thank you! No books are sent home, notifications for events are unless the school somehow profits off it. The principal is an absolute joke. She gets incredibly defensive when all you voice whats best your child! For the older kids, they are going to have a rude awakening when they get to middle school. Many things have happened over the years that have made me even question my Childs health. It all feels pointless when no one helps you even though they want more parents to care. The typical white girl of Southaven seems to be more important.Parent Review8y ago2 Reviews - Southaven High School

"Good and safe place to live..some places are overcrowded and over priced but overall nice place. It’s also a growing place so new houses are always being built"

"People walk dogs all the time here. Tons of dog walkers. Some daily walkers. Dogs seem to be welcome. There are sidewalks for walking which is helpful. "

"/as service animals in stores. I DO NOT recommend ever walking ur dog without a leash. ALWAYS watch ur dog outside, even in ur backyard. If ur dog gets loose it could go into the streets, possibly run over. Traffic WAY TOO FAST!"

"Mostly about watching your kids and their safety. Kids running around with no supervision is dangerous in these times and could get kidnapped or hurt. So cueing in from time to time should be a priority even with pets as well or the elderly."

"There aren’t a lot of sidewalks, so you either walk your dogs on the street or in someone’s yard. I find it awkward so I just don’t walk them in our neighborhood. "

"This is not like when I lived in Louisiana, people are more out reach and friendly. I have never lived in a neighborhood like this one.You have to speak first before they interact a conversation ,Maybe because I am older than them"
