Our home is warm and cozy. We have lived in for 60 years now and raised our children within the Columbus Public School district. It is a 3 story home with unfinished basement where we house a washer, dryer and able to have additional storage place and a makeshift pantry. The bedrooms are a decent size with the exception of the back room which is a bit smaller, It could be a great nursery or even converted into an additional bathroom. There are crawl spaces in this back room on each side for storage. There are security doors on the front and back part of the house as well as security bars on the 1st floor windows.

Was very apprehensive about the neighborhood from all I heard from friends and others, but since being here and realising the bargains that are available, I came to the conclusion that the neighborhood is what you make it. The people are very friendly and forthcoming, very close to all the downtown and German village amenities and freeway access. With all the construction going on downtown this will be a great place to live for young professionals. Apart from the buzzing helicopter which is a downtown feature of any big city I really recommend Southern Orchards very highly. Childrens Hospitals investment in this neighborhood is really starting to pay off with higher home values and now is definately a good time to look. "
