I don't think the school adresses bullying as it should be. NOONE is educated enough to care for kids with disabilities and/or disorders. And if you don't have money to put into the school you don't matter. Some teachers are there bc they are passionate about about teaching and care for their students actually love their career, and sadly most are there bc it's a paycheck.

As A Current student in Meigs High School, I have found you have to come from something in order to be recognized as a human being in the school. If you don't come from a good background or even well-known, they treat you differently and poorly which is just a shame. No one deserves to be treated poorly or differently just based off the fact you don't come off as mommy's/Daddy's money. In this school, they single handedly pick you out and make you feel bad for just everything they possibly can nothing is ever fair. Not only that they allow Teachers to treat you poorly which allows the education you get be affected. Bullying is allowed and those who do bully they get away with it just because the school has a sucky discipline system. Besides the poor relationships, bullying, disciplinary system, and education this school has other issues such as the mold in the cafeteria and system, the roaches and mice that crawl and roam the schools freely leading into the quality and safety of the food the students at Meigs High School. It has been proven that the school serves the students with expired milk and foods. Umm hello food poisoning at its finest. If you want the best for your child do the right thing and don't send them to Meigs High school. Homeschool them or find a better rating school elsewhere.

The staff will make your kids feel worse than the other students do. They also have no respect for the law and ultimately teach the Bible in social studies. Not all in the Bible Belt are Bible thumpers!
