My son has to hold his urinate everyday because he is not comfortable going to the restroom since he has witnessed some older kids vaping in there. It seems like they have had this problem for a long time and I wonder why it hasn't been resolved? There was one time that my son couldn't hold his urinate anymore and he tried to look for a restroom, but all of them were closed right after school. I am not sure if that's the way for this school to solve the problem about kids vaping by locking the boys restrooms after school? Also, it's so hard to get a hold of a counselor here. They don't respond back to emails or calls. This school is so unorganized. It's so frustrating.

I went to school here a couple years ago, when I told this girl I didn't like kpop she kicked me in the shins and cried but the pe teacher only punished me by sending me to the principals office for hurting somebody's feelings, keep in mind I only said "eh kpop".I forget what the teachers names are but two of the white male history teachers would say the nword, pretty sure one retired but idk about the other.

My son is in Kinder this year at Marvin and we could not be happier. His teacher is involved and cares about his success. Whenever there is an issue she needs to bring up, she takes a collaborative approach and works with us, instead of pinning it on us to fix. My son is learning so much so fast and he is thriving. The PTF is amazing in providing math, science, art, and music to all class levels, even if the district only pays for 3rd grade and above. Most of the teachers have been there for their whole carreers, which says a lot about how much they care for the students, and how well the school site treats the staff. The Principal is also very involved in every day activities, and you can always see him outside helping with the school drop off and interacting with parents and students.
