6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA great school for education and preparedness for college or career.Had two sons attend this school and one was accepted to West Point and the other earned a BS degree at a private college.Leilehua was diirectly responsible for offering the education that these boys applied themselves to.I don't know about the "equity" rating because I think demanding equity over offering complete equality to everyone is blatantly racist.Parent Review2y ago - Wahiawa Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWahiawa Middle School is a great school with engaged and earnest Administrators, Counselors, Teachers and support staff. There is even a Nurse Practitioner in-house! The use of the Infinite Campus program (there's a mobile app too) gives parents a heads up as to their child's academic performance. Some teachers even fill out the planner section so you aren't caught off guard by a major project, test or assignment. It's an additional layer of communication to each students' hardcopy daily planner. Each teacher can also be contacted via email. One of my children's teachers uses an opt-in messaging tool to remind us about big events! The library is also set up with the OverDrive app, so that students can check out books (audiobooks also) to their digital devices. There really is quite a bit of good extracurricularly speaking going on at Wahiawa Middle School: robotics, coding, honor society, chorus*, volleyball, track, tutoring, drama*, piano*, band*, UNF Girl Up Club, and more!*Elective Classes with scheduled after school programs. If you have questions call at least 20 minutes after school starts, the office is busy at that time, or pop in. Someone will answer them for you.Parent Review5y ago - Wahiawa Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis will be out third year attending this school it's bigger and a lot of students. They do not try to individually assess each student, but make basic assumptions that something is wrong within the household. They prioritize attendance before the well being of the student 14 excused absences with doctors note prompted a meeting including a child services/children's court worker. Mind you my son got sick from school, he caught covid and also the flu within the same month.Parent Review6mo ago - Anuenue School

"There are many great places to live at but as of what I seen from living here for 6 years now is that it's hard to maintain a decent place cause it's getting more expensive everywhere as for as here"

"The nicer part of the armpit of Oahu. Unfortunately the actual town has lot of bums and is just nasty. Outside of my little neighborhood people are generally rude. The weather is pretty much rainy all the time. We call it castle Greyskull for a reason"

"I live in a quiet area of Wahiawa. The neighbors are mindful when they have parties; though it is a weekend, they manage to quiet down by a decent time. I love it here because most of the neighbors are friendly and easy to talk to. Basically, my neighborhood is quiet. Even the children around here are in their homes before the sun sets."

"I work by there. And it is very close to my house and I like to live by there"
