NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is truly a school where ALL the staff care about the students whether in their classroom or not. They work hard and have shown by being the highest scoring school in the BCPS system last year. Great parent nights, wonderful communication with notes home and their Facebook page! Truly a gem.Parent Review11y ago2 Reviews - Battle Creek Central High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI will write a review for the school itself and not the students because I believe that individual choices and act are not the school’s fault or control. I’ve been a student at central since freshmen year, and I can definitely say that the school as well as BCPS lives up to their motto, “Believe In the Change.” Of course, I can’t say that this is the best school out of all the schools in Michigan because to make such comparison would need me to attend every school in Michigan to compare, and this school has some flaws just like every other school in the world. And that is where Central and BCpS steps in because they try to improve everyday. The community is trying to change to improve in order to meet the needs of everyone. They truly believe in student voice, teacher and student strong relationship, and meeting every student’s demand the best they can. They are always looking for ways to improve and change for the better. They allow opportunities where students can voice the change or any other issues which I have been part of in many ways so I am a witness to that. Everyone’s experience is different so I can’t speak for everyone but I am surely sincere about my experience with Central. As I mentioned, it isn’t the BEST school and it isn’t fair to compare with other schools but this school surely is a wonderful school in its own ways.Student Review4y ago9 Reviews - Northwestern Middle School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two students that currently attend Northwestern. I also used to attend this school. My husband and myself really enjoy the teachers and the principal. We had a problem involving another classmate and the principal took care of the issue right away. My children went to a previous school last year and only one was getting good grades and this school the teachers take there time and make sure they get good grades. I'm proud to say both of my children are passing with A's and B's!!! They both love the school they attend, and we are glad they had a smooth transition from one school to another. Thank you to the staff and Northwestern Junior High, go junior bearcats!!!!Parent Review13y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 55 Stringham Rd #75-07.

"There are “poo stations”, trash cans specifically for doggie waste at parks. There’s always people walking their dogs. There’s a dog park in Pennfield, which is right down the road from where I live (North Ave). "

"There are a ton of rentals in this area and the neighborhood changes based on who rents the properties. This summer has been great, last summer not so much. Tons of partying and fights! Those who own try to stay to themselves. "
