For the convenience of loading and unloading your car, there is a side entrance to the building on Liberty Place. The building is zoned for district 2, Spruce Street School (PS 397, Pre-K through 8th grade).

Designed by Henry Ives Cobb, Liberty Tower was upon its completion in 1910 "one of only a handful of skyscrapers," according to The New York Times. "Its striking Gothic style, the centuries-old inspiration for cathedral spires that reach into the sky to approach the divine, is central to the tower's romantic appeal," and the terra-cotta façade is richly adorned with birds, alligators, flowers and gargoyles. Designated a city landmark in 1982 and added the following year to the National Register of Historic Places, the building also received a preservation award from the New York Landmarks Conservancy in 2010.

Neighborhood amenities include dining and shopping at the Oculus, Eataly, Brookfield Place and the new Seaport. The brand new Whole Foods FiDi is now open. Many subway lines at the Fulton Center and the WTC Path station are moments away.
